Everything about PARAMEDICAL tattoo

Lets start your journey to loving yourself even more

Paramedical tattooing is used to literally “camouflage” your scars and stretch marks and make them completely blend into the surrounding skin. Paramedical tattooing is a bit different than most PMU sessions, because in those cases you have instant results. With paramedical tattooing it will look worse before it gets better. While it’s a bit of a longer process, its 100% worth the investment! There are two styles of paramedical tattooing, inkless and ink pigments tattooing! Inkless deposits a serum into the stretch marks or scars to promote collagen into the skin and restore your stretch marks and scars naturally. Now on the other hand ink pigment tattooing deposits a color matched pigment into your stretch marks and scars and covers them that way. The choice is ultimately yours, both of them provide concealing results that help blend them into your skin!

So what is paramedical tattooing?

INKLESS TREATMENT

INKLESS TREATMENT

Inkless Treatment uses the same technique as paramedical tattooing but without the use of any ink. Instead of ink, I use a mix of serums and vitamins to promote collagen in the skin, improve the texture and restore the color back in your stretch marks naturally. Inkless treatment can be used on all types of stretch marks - white, pink, red, even stretch marks that are deeply textured!

Inkless Treatment provides a natural way to restore the color into your skin! In comparison to ink pigment treatment, your treated stretch marks will be able to tan along with your surrounding skin! 1-3 sessions are needed to treat the stretch marks with an average of 40-50 days healing period between each session!

iNK PIGMENTS- paramedical TATTOO

This style of paramedical tattooing deposits skin tone ink pigments into your skin rather than a serum like the inkless treatment. This method works only on stretch marks or scars that are two years or older and have little to no texture to them. During your first session, I will color match your natural skin tone to cover the stretch marks/scars with.

With this method your tattooed stretch marks will not change color like the surrounding skin when you tan, it will remain the color that was matched to your skin tone. The number of sessions needed varies with each person to achieve full coverage to your stretch marks, with an average of 40-60 days healing period between each session.

FAQS - PARAMEDICAL TATToOINg

  • Your tattoo will not change color at all, so depending on how dark you get when you tan will determine the overall contrast between your natural skin ton and your tanned skin.

  • Technically this is a tattoo, so it will be permanent. With that being said all tattoos change, fade, and overtime due to aging, sun exposure, and health, you may need a touch up in 3-5 years.

  • Everyones skin, scar or stretch marks are different so it’s hard to say but typically you are looking at 2-4 sessions! Once you book a consultation with me your overall timeline can be better determined.

  • Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but the average pain on a scale from 0-10 is about a 5 or a 6. Some of the most sensitive areas include: behind the knees, flanks (love handles), around your ovaries, under arms and ribs! Again this is all based on personal pain tolerance levels. Also, a helpful tip is to NOT book during your monthly cycles! Not only does it take longer to heal but you also have a lower pain tolerance and thinner blood.

  • During your first consultation price can be better determined due to me being able to look at your skins stretch marks or scars, thus I will be able to give you a more accurate quote. The investment ranges in price.

  • I am only able to camouflage the stretch marks that are visible during the session. With that being said, if you do get pregnant again or get more stretch marks, everything is documented so we can go back and touch things up once you are healed.

  • No, I cannot tattoo over black ink. Camouflage tattooing doesn’t cover like makeup does, the black ink will still be visible under the skin and to the naked eye.

  • Everyones skin heals differently so it is hard to give a specific timeline for healing. On average it takes 45-60 days to completely heal. If you are someone who is prone to hyperpigmentation then you are looking more at 60-90 days. There are also some rare cases that could exceed 90 days until you are fully healed.
